On the fifth expanded edition
Some books have staying power. Take this one, for example: around ten years ago, when I had just joined the editorial team at Detail as editor-in-chief, I published this monograph. At the time, incidentally, it was far from certain whether a book like this would sell at all.

Since then, the Hadrcoverband – which showcases selected projects with construction details – has been reprinted several times. The fifth, expanded edition is now available. Three recent projects by Herzog & de Meuron have been added, including the Hortus building, which also features on the cover.
